Eleven/Eleven is a personal project by Kaleena to make 1000 paper cranes of hope in loving memory of her mother who passed from cancer on 11/11/09. The project will span from 11/11/10 to 11/11/11.

UPDATE

11/11/11 - 409 out of 1000 cranes were accomplished. The project will continue on until 1000 cranes are reached. So keep on requesting paper cranes & sharing your stories of hope.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS

1. Project begins 11/11/10 at 11:11 am.

2. Personally create 1000 paper cranes.

3. Each crane must be in a different location.

4. Paper source must be re-purposed.

5. Take a picture and post it on the website.

6. I can’t travel to 1000 unique places.

7. Help me by submitting a request for hope (include your address) & I will send a crane.

8. Upon receiving the crane, send me a photo of where the crane is living.

9. I will post your pictures on the website to continue the count.

10. The result is 1000 cranes of hope that live on in loving memory.

11. Project ends continues on 11/11/11 at 11:11 am.
